March 8, 2003 was the Center for Healthy Aging Champagne Gala
Celebration at Casa Del Mar -- which honored Ida and Nat Trives.
They received the Maurice D. and Lois Schwartz Humanitarian Award.
Rotarians who cheered Ida and Nat -- Roger and Monika White,
CEO/President of CHA; Dick and Char Lawrence; Robert
and Jeanne Segal; Kathy Dodson and her husband Tom Dodson;
Iao Katagiri; Judy Neveau; Kris Andresen; and
Clyde and Rosemary Smith. Our Mayor Richard
and Robbie Bloom also attended, as well as City Councilman Ken Genser.
The elegant evening was fast-paced with a fabulous band and everyone on the
floor dancing !
Ida and Nat have been involved in CHA since its inception in 1976.
Its mission is to meet the needs of aging adults and their families.
CHA has gained a national reputation for innovative and effective programs and
services that assist clients and their families with the physical, emotional,
financial challenges that come with aging, through customized programs and
services.
