International Convention 2003

Put a shrimp on the Barbie -- Mate!

Incoming Vice President Nat Trives was the club's official convention representative.  Past President Hal Quigley was enjoying the activities of an outstanding international convention.

One of the most rewarding events of an international convention is being hosted by a local club.  Nat Trives and Hal Quigley are seen exchanging club banners with the President of the Rotary Club of Wynnum Manly

Gale & John Bovard Miron, Incoming President of the Wilshire Rotary Club of Los Angeles, are pictured with Kai-Li & Hal Quigley.

Nat Trives is hob nobbing with District Governor Rick Mendoza.

Next Year the International Convention is in Osaka, Japan.  The representative of the Rotary Club of Santa Monica will be President-Elect Lionel Ruhman.  If you are interested in attending, please contact Lionel Ruhman.  Japan is historically the site of some of the best international conventions.
