Committees

The operations of our Club are divided into six areas of responsibility, and all Committees are assigned to one of these divisions. The first three divisions (Meetings, Member Services, and Membership Development) are focused on the internal operations of our club. The second two (Community & Youth Services and Vocational Service) are focused on helping our community. The final division (International Service) focuses on the broader goal of helping humanity and fostering peace worldwide through Rotary International.

This year's process began in March, 2002 when all members were sent questionnaires asking them to list their committee preferences for this year. Repeat solicitations by e-mail and at the Club’s meetings continued into April and May, and the committees were assigned to our six Directors who have committee responsibility for the entire year.

This year, by working together our club intends to add value to the lives of our community--local and worldwide--through ROTARY.
