ANGI MA WONG

 

 

 

A graduate of the University of Southern California and the daughter of a diplomat and industrialist, Angi Ma Wong was born in Nan king, China, and has lived in New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, New Jersey and Washington, D. C. As an undergraduate, she was the founding president of Chi Delta Alpha, the women's service sorority at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, which in 1997 celebrated its 30th anniversary.

 She is an award‑winning businesswoman and author of 13 books, five on feng shui, the Chinese environmental system of placement, including the bestseller "Feng Shui Dos and Taboos" and the award‑winner "TARGET: The U.S. Asian Market." Angi founded her intercultural and feng shui consultancy and corporate training business in 1989 and her publishing company, Pacific Heritage Books in 1992. Through writing, publishing, public speaking and seminars, she bridges cultures for understanding and profitability between Asians and non‑Asians. She was named Outstanding L.A. Businesswoman of the Year by NAWBO in 1995 and won the IRWIN Award as the Southern California Publicist of the Year in 1997 as well as received numerous other honors for her work and volunteerism.

 Her clientele includes AT&T, Bank of America, Universal Studios, COTY International, the Limited, Paul Anka Productions, Four Seasons Hotel, Ford Motor Company, Hughes‑Avicom, Crustacean and Dragon Noodle Restaurants, and over 90 residential and commercial real estate developers globally. Known as "The Feng Shui Lady ", Angi has appeared on OPRAH, CNN Headline News, CBS Sunday Morning and in TIME magazine as well as over 250 features in print, broadcast and Internet media, and writes a regular feng shui column on homestore.com.  A board member of the Palos Verdes Sunset Rotary Club and its president elect for 2002‑ Angi is a charter member and past president of the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California A dynamic, inspirational and popular speaker, she is based in Palos Verdes, California, and travels worldwide to share her expertise to international audiences.
