DIRECTIONS: The Long
Beach Postal Processing and Distribution Center (P&DC) is located south of
the San Diego 405 Fwy between Willow Street and Pacific Coast Hwy. From
the 405, take the Lakewood Blvd. Exit southbound. Make an immediate right;
turn off Lakewood onto Willow Street. Make a left turn off of Willow onto
Redondo Avenue. Proceed North on Redondo. The Long Beach P&DC is the large
complex on the left-hand side of the street past Burnett Street. Make a
left turn into the customer/administrative parking lot on the northside of
the building (last entrance going north). Park in any available spot. Use
the administrative entrance about the center of the building. (Do not go
through the customer retail doors on the westside.) Please meet at the
administrative entrance beginning about 9:30 am. Anyone arriving after
10:00 a.m. will miss the tour because we will proceed through security
onto the workroom floor at that time.
